Hannah and Randy

I am finally catching up after this crazy-busy Wedding season! Hannah and Randy's Wedding was one of the first I thought to share with you. I love to see the Rock Garden as it transforms for each event.  Sister of the Groom, Lindye Galloway Events helped the Bride bring to life her artistic vision for one of our most unique looks.

Our front garden, The Patio of the Stars, was the perfect ocean view setting for the bridal party photo shoot.

This gorgeous couple needs no better backdrop than the simplicity and charm of our West Wing and Patio of the Stars.

Guests danced the night away with those refreshing ocean breezes enjoying delectable treats and a romantic signature coffee bar.  A perfect ending to a perfect day for Randy and Hannah.

Semper Fi "Always Faithful"

Stunning Bride Taryn, Daughter of Kimberlyn Richardson from 24 Carrots Catering and Cameron a handsome U.S. Marine were married in the Casino San Clemente's Rock Garden earlier this May. Semper Fidelis is Latin for "Always Faithful" and is well known in the United States as the motto of the U.S. Marine Corps and is often shortened to Semper Fi! You could see that forever look all over his face as his Bride walked down the aisle.

A haute baby shower for a haute Mom!

April 3, 2011
Being a Mother of two myself, when Doug and Annie were expecting their first child I couldn't resist and had to throw them a shower!  Annie and Doug are from Northern California so when beginning to brainstorm plans for a non-traditional baby shower, I called Brandi Smith from High Society Wedding & Event Planning to save the day! Brandi ran with a "glam" baby shower theme, typical of her fresh design concepts. The Patio of the Stars seaside view seemed to be the perfect setting for a true Southern California experience.

Mercedes Ugalde & Everitt from BG Designs as well as power house trio Allison, Kaylee and Bonnie from The Tangled Vine on Los Rios put a new glamorous twist on some baby shower favorites. Stephanie Stevens from Ribbons & Rust Vintage Decor Rentals pulled it all together with gorgeous hand picked, unique pieces.

Local favorite Christina Carbonara from Carbonara Catering kept it fresh and yummy!  Paige Bowman & Itty Bitty Sweets for the perfect cherry (pie) on top!

Tracey Hanson from 2 Rings and a Dress Photographers captured all the details and most importantly the emotion of Mom and Dad to be.

Thanks to all my vendor-friends for pulling together such a special occasion in style for a "haught" Mom.
Remember us at the Casino for that awesome, seaside venue!

Zachary's Wish

March 6, 2011
When the Make A Wish Foundation heard that 4 year old Zachary's favorite movie was Disney's "CARS", and his favorite character was Lightening McQueen, they sprang into action! Zach was diagnosed with a life threatning illness, and his wish was for a "CARS" birthday-complete with  jumper, car cake, car balloons, and all his preschool friends!

On his wish day, Zach arrived by limo and was greeted by a tunnel of volunteers who cheered and applauded as he walked into his own fantasy party room.

The Ballroom and Rock Garden transformed into the ultimate kid's party - complete with a DJ, balloons, face painting, tattoos, pizza, cupcakes, a bounce house with a slide, CARS character cut-outs, a Disney screen playing the CARS movie, an X-Box Kinect for the older kids, and fun games and toys for everyone!

Thanks to a myriad of awesome volunteers, Zach had an amazing birthday party
surrounded by all of his friends and family.

A special thank you to Illina Leff two time cancer survivor and husband Bob Leff, San Clemente residents and both wish granters for the Make a Wish foundation.
And thank you to Make a Wish Orange County & the Inland Empire Chapter.
The Casino was honored to be a part of this amazing celebration!

A personal "shout out" to my Daughters/Casino Queens and helpers that day.
We are blessed with my Mom and their Grandma, a 10 Year cancer survivor.
