The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce was wow'd at their monthly Mixer last night by Jay's Catering on the seaside Patio of the Casino San Clemente. The debut of the Casino Margarita with a twist of orange received rave reviews!
Executive Chef Mark Bolton served Smoked Kalua Pork Sliders on Jay's homemade Dutch Crunch buns and Mini Croissant with goat cheese and imported prosciutto. Perhaps the larger crowd circled the sinful dessert display featuring lemon cheese cake, mango and passion curd tarts, gluten free chocolate decadence with fresh raspberry and Paris Brest cream puff filled with hazelnut cream.
The Patio of the Stars overflowed late in to the evening with Chamber members including President Lynn Wood, Council member Chris Hamm, Jim Evert and former Mayor Joe Anderson. Jay's Catering staff mingled with attendees and gifted "free coffee" cards to their forthcoming Ellie's Table corner cafe at the Casino, scheduled to open late August. Ellie's Table, with outstanding ocean views, will serve the local neighborhood fresh breakfast and Keen coffee starting at 6am through lunch service at 2pm.
